There have been so many New Year’s Eve’s that you can’t remember, the reason: too much alcohol!

Here are the alcohol-free gins for a headache-free start to the New Year.
Gin Seedlip Spice 94
Origin country: England
What do you drink when you don’t want to drink? From alcohol marketing to alcohol-free cocktails went the way of Ben Branson. He studied old apothecary books and learned all about maceration and distillation. With vegetables and fruits from his parents’ farm, he implemented the first Seedlip recipes. Distilled on copper stills.
The taste is aromatic, earthy. It tastes of clove, lemon and cardamom. Seedlip tastes best with a tonic water and a slice of grapefruit.
Manufacturing process: In the 17th century, apothecaries used small copper stills to make non-alcoholic herbal remedies. Today, Seedlip uses this exact process. The finest ingredients are harvested and individually cold macerated, distilled and re-blended to capture the spirit of nature.

Gin Siegfried Wonderleaf
Origin country: Germany
Unbelievable, but true: The worldwide award-winning Siegfried Rheinland Dry Gin has got its first non-alcoholic alternative from Germany with Siegfried Wonderleaf!
Siegfried Gin has not been on the market long. Nevertheless, it has already won several awards – including best gin in Germany. It is named after the hero Siegfried from the Nibelungen saga. According to legend, he killed a dragon on Drachenfels and then bathed in its blood.
Strictly speaking, it is not a gin, because by law it must have at least 37.5% alcohol by volume. But Siegfried Wonderleaf brings the aromas of gin botanicals in a non-alcoholic version to drinks and cocktails – for those who don’t want or aren’t allowed to drink anything. That’s right, Wonderleaf is not meant to replace Siegfried Gin, but to complement it for certain life situations.
Taste: 18 botanicals with a focus on lime blossom. Fresh and floral on the nose, followed by pleasant herbal notes on the palate.
